Resource-saving separation of solids according to density
Gosag Densimetric Tables are an efficient solution for separating dry and wet materials based on density. The Densimetric Table does not require any water at all. Thus, downstream drying processes are eliminated and significant energy savings are achieved.
The environmentally friendly Densimetric Table is offered in two types, FM and GSort. The FM type is used for separating products with low density and medium particle size. This equipment is particularly suitable for processing municipal waste, plastics as well as sawdust. The GSort is suitable for the separation of products with high density and grain sizes up to 80 mm and is used for the processing of minerals, demolition waste, glass as well as aluminum.

Functionality
The separation takes place on a perforated bottom plate with a vibrating movement. Rising air flows from below through this surface and brings two effects for the material to be treated: products with lower density float without touching the floor and slide on the air flow towards the lower part of the floor surface. Products with higher density touch the floor and are transported to the upper part of the floor surface by the vibration. The greater the difference in product density, the greater the range of particle sizes that can be selected.
