Efficient optical sorting with the MSort OPT
As a pioneer in industrial sorting technology, Mogensen sets standards in optical sorting with the MSort OPT. The sorting system sorts all bulk materials that can be clearly classified by color and/or geometry. Even difficult products of the most diverse compositions can be sorted efficiently. The slightest color differences are reliably detected and are available as sorting parameters. The sorting machine is suitable for processing glass, minerals, salt, metals and plastics.

Functionality
In the MSort OPT color line cameras are used to scan the incoming bulk material. Sorting software analyzes the data obtained by the camera based on assigned parameters for color, transparency, shape and/or size, and classified as “good” product or “reject” product. Targeted compressed air pulses through up to 600 compressed air valves in the MSort OPT eject the parts to be separated from the material flow.
