Functionality
The dewatering screens and sizers for wet screening are driven by two unbalanced motors that produce a linear movement, which also helps transport the material to the outlet/discharge. The water is discharged through high-quality polyurethane sieves/screens. Through this very efficient process, fine sand and a large part of the clay are removed
In pumping applications, our de-sanding machines separate the rock rubble from such valuable products as bentonite, and make it possible to reuse with water as the pumping medium. Thanks to the upstream sieving, viscous materials such as lumps of clay or very sticky products can be separated. By processing the mixture from the overflow of the primary cyclone (large diameter) and adding filtered water and recovered fines from the drainage channel, a cut with a particle size of 30 µm is achieved.
Compact Allgaier Mogensen units for sand washing remove the sand fraction below a 75 μm (200 mesh) grain size. In sludge settling tanks, the dirty water containing fine substances from the washing process enters a mixing box, where an optimal dose of concentrated solution with flocculant is added. Lower in the sludge settling basin, filler granules with the desired size are formed, which settle as sludge on the bottom. A pump, controlled by a PLC using a measured torque to generate an optimal sludge concentration, picks up the sludge in the central cone of the clarifier and pumps it to the desired unloading point. Through this process water loss is minimized.
