Drum Dryers Mozer System
Efficient drying of fine and coarse solids with Drum Dryers Mozer System
The Allgaier Drum Dryers are used for drying free-flowing bulk materials. High throughput rates as well as the possibility of treating solids with very widely distributed or strongly fluctuating particle properties characterize the Drum Dryers. They are particularly suitable for processing mineral materials, sands, slags, ores as well as coal. They are also available as single-shell, double-shell or even triple-shell dryers. The design and layout ensure high performance in a confined space.

Functionality
Due to the application-related design of the drum (internal internals) and the rotation of the drums, very intensive contact is achieved between the loosened bulk material and the hot gas or air flowing through. This enables an extremely intensive mass/heat exchange and thus very efficient drying.
In Double-Shell Drums, drying takes place in two concentrically arranged tubes. At the transition from the inner drum to the outer drum, the bulk material is deflected in its axial direction of movement. The inlet and outlet of the bulk material are on the same side of the drum.
In Triple-Shell Drums, drying takes place in three concentrically arranged pipes. At the transition from the inner drum to the middle drum and from this to the outer drum, the bulk material is deflected in its axial direction of movement in each case. The inlet and outlet of the bulk material are on the opposite side of the drum.
Benefits
High perfomance: Very high thermal efficiency and low fuel consumption even without separate insulation of the drum.
Robust design: Particularly robust and wear-resistant drum designs can be fulfilled.
Compact design: Compact overall lengths even with high throughput rates.
Maximum flexibility: Installation of screwable wear segments, rapping devices and/or cleaning chains possible over the complete drum length; variety of installation options; ideal for performance upgrades of existing systems where space is limited.
